If there was ever any doubt about whether promotional products are worth investing in, then read on and have all your fears allayed. The survey was commissioned by the BPMA with individual interviews carried out by an independent research agency in December 2012 to 1000 respondents.

Who are the BPMA anyway?

Glad you asked. The BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) is one of the UK’s leading industry bodies dedicated to promoting best practices around sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of promotional items. With an extensive membership it has always strived to set the highest benchmarks for quality and professionalism across the promotional marketing industry.

Enough of the talk, show me some FACTS!

Here are the key findings of the research:

  • Investing in promotional products has almost the same ability as TV adverts to make the respondent remember the products, brand or service.
  • Promotional products have the best ability to get the respondent to take action.
  • A staggering 80% of respondents keep a promotional item or business gift after 2 years if it's useful.
  • Branded gifts by far outweigh the other advertising mediums in the ability to make the respondent feel appreciated.
  • 97.7% of respondents think that promotional products are not a waste of money.

So if you were ever on the fence as to whether promotional products or business gifts were the right choice for your company, this latest research should help make your decision much easier.

Their popularity, effectiveness and amazing value for money should make your decision a no-brainer.
